Owner John Pavlopoulos and his wife Dimitra have been residents of Dunwoody since 1985 and have seen their two children graduate from Dunwoody High School. They have been continuous contributors to the local community. Pavlopoulos is a successful entrepreneur with an extensive background in the hospitality industry development.
Construction on the Goodyear building began in March of 2013 after he completed the adjacent Professional Center office/retail building. The 8-month endeavor resulted in a 7,680 square foot, 12-bay service auto repair and tire facility, serving Atlanta, Georgia. The construction of the two buildings also improved the intersection of Tilly Mill and Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in Doraville.
This brand new tire store includes a clean and hospitable waiting area with free wi-fi, coffee and snacks, as well as a children’s corner, to keep event their youngest customers entertained, while parents wait for completion of the service visit. “We want all our customers to have a pleasant experience,” says Pavlopoulos.
The official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the store’s opening took place on December 7, 2013 and featured City of Doraville officials as well as Doraville mayor, Donna Pittman. Ceremony was followed by a small reception. On April 4th The Dunwoody Chamber of Commerce did their refresh ribbon cutting.
